About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and support enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure and platform solutions.
Develop scalable and reusable Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform.
Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable delivery practices.
Collaborate with architecture and security teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and governance requirements.
Support cloud environment provisioning, configuration, and deployment activities across multiple initiatives.
Work closely with technical SMEs, engineers, and delivery teams to ensure successful integration and operational readiness.
Contribute to solution documentation, technical standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support testing and transition activities, including operational acceptance and production readiness.
Participate in cross-functional working groups to improve engineering consistency, automation, and delivery outcomes.
Maintain awareness of evolving cloud technologies, platform capabilities, and industry best practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong hands-on experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud solutions within AWS environments.
Proven experience using Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code delivery.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions or similar.
Understanding of cloud architecture principles, security, networking, and scalable infrastructure design.
Experience working within complex enterprise or regulated environments.
Exposure to containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a structured and delivery-focused approach.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
Experience supporting large-scale transformation or migration programmes.
Familiarity with cloud governance, monitoring, and operational best practices.
Experience working within the energy, utilities, or critical infrastructure sectors.
