About the role
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, from design through to implementation, while maintaining clear and effective communication throughout
- Take full ownership of technical issues, ensuring thorough diagnosis and resolution
- Deliver project engineering services, including (but not limited to) low-level design, implementation, and consultancy
- Provide expert-level support to clients and serve as an internal escalation point for complex support incidents
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and security-related issues with precision and efficiency
- Mentor and support the development of other team members
Requirements
- Minimum CCNP level Cisco certification
- Knowledge and experience of deploying at least 5 of the following in a production environment
- Cisco Routers (and associated protocols such as EIGRP, OSPG, BGP)
- Cisco Switches (and associated technologies such as VTP, STP, VSS)
- Cisco Datacentre Switching (Nexus and associated technologies such as VPC, VDC)
- Cisco Wireless, Cisco Firewalls (ASA, or Firepower)
- Cisco Voice/IPT, Cisco SDWAN, Cisco ISE
- Azure and AWS cloud environments
- Palo Alto Firewalls
- Cisco Meraki
