About the role
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse data and deliver insightful solutions to enhance decision-making processes and support smooth project delivery
- Facilitate service design and gather requirements
- Handle project kick-off and close-out activities
- Conduct gap analysis and ensure all requirements are fulfilled
- Review and generate pertinent documentation
- Analyse data to produce insightful reports that aid strategic decision-making
- Dissect complex issues and convert them into actionable deliverables, including solutions and services
- Engage with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to define and agree reporting and analytics requirements, and provide guidance to the team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify needs and set objectives
- Join an Energy sector team within an Oil & Gas Operator environment and work within Sword's technical and domain-focused teams
Requirements
- Experience as a Business Analyst with demonstrable experience delivering solutions around applications and supporting project managers with delivery of work streams
- Ability to translate business requirements into use cases (with descriptions, acceptance criteria, functional and non functional requirements)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data driven insights to non-technical audiences
- Ability to present visualizations/reports in a business context to business stakeholders
