About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the smooth integration of the Steam scope into standard Gas commodities.
- Serve as the main point of contact (POC) for all Steam integration activities.
- Remove roadblocks to Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) activities.
- Cover both Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development.
- Manage supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and support key suppliers in achieving industrial standards of excellence.
- SQEs have varying levels of differentiation related to their technical understanding of engineering drawings and their ability to manage vendors.
- Develop specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in one’s discipline or field.
- Serve as a best-practice and quality resource.
- Maintain awareness of the latest functional developments in the area.
- Contribute to strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within the area of responsibility.
- Act as a skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages effectively.
- Serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues.
- Explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus.
- Develop persuasion skills required to influence stakeholders on topics within the field.
- Affect approaches, projects, and programs in the functional area or the impacted business organization and ways of working.
- Impact the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the team. Roles at this level have significant input into priorities and are guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role.

Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with Steam processes (SPS) and a solid understanding of the Steam environment.
- Strong supplier quality experience.
- For France, Germany, and Poland only: fluency in English is required; proficiency in a second local language is a plus.
- For India only: strong verbal communication skills are required; proficiency in a second local language is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs and projects.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
