About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collecting information from site / Project Engineering Manager / logistics / Center of excellence to prepare the synopsis and lashing drawings
Imagining the erection and maintenance operation according to the procedure with standard tools and according to the EHS rules
Perform the calculation and design of the tools according to the CoE’s Design Practices
Represent the Tooling Center of Excellence (CoE) in front of the Project Team
Coordinate within the Tooling CoE the calculation and design of the full list of tools identified during synopsis phase
Designing specific tools (3D, calculation note, fabrication drawings, instruction manuals)
Preparing the lifting drawing
Stamp the tooling design whenever needed for North American project
Participating when required to the design of the tool or of the piece itself

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor degree from an accredited university in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent knowledge or experience
Significant experience (>5 years) in mechanical design - US stamp Mandatory
Experience in design of lifting equipment and access platform or significant experience on site
Good knowledge of CAD and calculation
Excellent written & verbal English skills for international communications
Proven ability to work with cross-functional and global teams
Strong interpersonal skills, proven leadership skills and a positive energy
