About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collecting information from site / Project Engineering Manager / logistics / Center of excellence to prepare the synopsis and lashing drawings
  • Imagining the erection and maintenance operation according to the procedure with standard tools and according to the EHS rules
  • Perform the calculation and design of the tools according to the CoE’s Design Practices
  • Represent the Tooling Center of Excellence (CoE) in front of the Project Team
  • Coordinate within the Tooling CoE the calculation and design of the full list of tools identified during synopsis phase
  • Designing specific tools (3D, calculation note, fabrication drawings, instruction manuals)
  • Preparing the lifting drawing
  • Stamp the tooling design whenever needed for North American project
  • Participating when required to the design of the tool or of the piece itself

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor degree from an accredited university in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent knowledge or experience
  • Significant experience (>5 years) in mechanical design - US stamp Mandatory
  • Experience in design of lifting equipment and access platform or significant experience on site
  • Good knowledge of CAD and calculation
  • Excellent written & verbal English skills for international communications
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional and global teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills, proven leadership skills and a positive energy
