About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee and align New Units production schedules and component line workflows to optimize business priorities.
  • Conduct deep analysis of key operational challenges and lead the development and execution of action plans to address them.
  • Work with Material COE leaders to drive a robust problem-solving culture and framework across component lean lines.
  • Collaborate with Site Master Schedulers to prepare, issue, and control the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
  • Confirm shop load for all components manufactured within the Gas Value Stream to ensure alignment with production capabilities.
  • Establish and drive a common set of Delivery KPIs, tools, and best practices to ensure accountability across all levels of the organization.
  • Advise management on work-in-progress (WIP) status, material availability, and potential production risks to ensure necessary resources are provided.
  • Cultivate a culture of rigor around planning and scheduling processes to exceed On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets and minimize overdue metrics.
  • Drive scorecards, overdue reduction, and root-cause analysis (RCA) to identify short-term countermeasures and long-term systemic fixes.
  • Facilitate positive communication rhythms with Site Leaders and Material Managers, aligning materials management strategies with overarching business goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with SIOP leaders, Inventory managers, Production Control, Strategic Sourcing, Product Management, Services, and Factory Materials Managers to achieve unified objectives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or equivalent knowledge/experience).
  • Significant professional experience in a manufacturing environment, including extensive materials or inventory management experience.
  • Advanced experience in materials management, inventory control, and production scheduling.
  • Ability to utilize ERP systems, Smartsheet, and Tableau for reporting and data analysis.
  • Experience driving KPI performance, resolving production bottlenecks, and leading cross-functional teams to meet aggressive delivery goals.
  • English (Mandatory).
