About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review the project scope and compare it to the quotation during the handover of the project from the Commercial group to Project Management.
Lead the project kickoff meeting with all internal contributors and assign roles and responsibilities.
Lead the kickoff meeting with the client to communicate the nature of the work to be performed and clarify any issues in the order.
Coordinate all project-related activities, including on-site activities.
Track project spending against the budget (costs, materials, labor).
Lead and prepare summaries/minutes for project follow-up meetings (internal and external).
Prepare and present project reviews to organizational management.
Communicate and regularly update the client on project progress.
Manage on-site subcontractor contracts.
Follow up with Purchasing and Procurement regarding supplier deliveries.
Track project deviations and negotiate contract variations.
Execute billing in accordance with contract terms.
Produce the project's post-mortem analysis report.
Perform the administrative project close-out.

Requirements

What you’ll need

This role requires significant experience in project management.
Education level equivalent to a university master’s degree or an accredited college diploma.
Hold a university degree specialized in electrical or mechanical engineering.
Minimum of 5 years proven project management experience (relevant to the role).
Bilingual — fluent in spoken and written English and French.
