About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide direct oversight to Overwatch Tooling Refurbishments
Seek new technologies to upgrade or replace the aging fleet of tools
Support Capital Investment strategy for fleet expansion in both BWR and PWR markets
Continue to own Continuous Improvement of Overwatch processes
Support the process of tooling conceptual design, field delivery and beyond
Provide technical direction and guidance to craft labor in support of a power equipment outage
Single point of contact for Outage execution
Work with field services training and staffing team to build out field execution teams, the SME will be the lead instructor for training courses
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements
Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field
Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline from an accredited college/university OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 7 years of experience in BWR maintenance management or inspection services
Minimum 3-year leadership of field teams working at customer sites as well as leading design engineering teams
Experience in BWRVIP, ASME and ISI programs implemented by nuclear plants
This position requires frequent travel (70% of the time or more)
Must be willing to work in radiation-controlled areas and radioactively contaminated areas
