About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise a team of engineers/technicians and/or subcontractors for the installation, pre-commissioning, and maintenance of HVDC Valve Solutions
  • Lead/Supervise team of field engineers/technicians and carry out assembly, repair and maintenance, pre-commissioning work on-site
  • Report on the progress of work
  • Ensure the security and strengthen the EHS culture of all stakeholders under their responsibility
  • Maintain the Valve Delivery Project Plan

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Mechanical engineering expertise at graduate level or equivalent experience
  • Significant experience in mechanical/electrical (maintenance field) and team supervision preferably experienced in working in Live HV environments
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Good knowledge of safety and the environment
  • Willing and able to frequently travel globally (including off shore / sea platforms) for extended periods of time, often at short notice
