About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for activities related to civil design, construction and on-site commissioning at the client’s location
Independently managing the scope of civil engineering services
Planning and execution of work processes for construction projects
Coordination and development of the plant layout and communication with all internally involved engineering functions
Participation in project meetings with the end customer
Ensuring strict compliance with all relevant occupational health and safety standards
Regular monitoring of construction progress and initiation of corrective measures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
Degree in civil engineering or architecture, or a technical qualification with extensive relevant experience
Experience executing international large-scale projects and managing subcontractors and personnel
Solid knowledge and confident application of relevant contractual frameworks such as the German Civil Code (BGB), VOB and HOAI
Self-motivated, structured and independent working style
Resilient and decisive, with sound judgment
Willingness to travel
