About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, Qualify, and Improve manufacturing processes
  • Define global process standards and equipment standards and deploy them across the Aero Alliance factories
  • Define, control, communicate global processes for manufacturing assets
  • Validate engineering specifications and shop floor application of new processes
  • Partner with channels on the development of new repair processes and qualifications
  • Develop and implement reliability improvement strategies using industry best practices such as FMEA
  • Collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and safety teams to design and implement preventive and predictive programs
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing equipment downtime and improve quality processes
  • Lead investigations into failures and chronic issues
  • Provide technical support for asset management
  • Train local factory manufacturing engineers
  • Participate in the design and installation of new equipment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
  • 7+ years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical role (manufacturing engineer or similar) with expertise in assembly processes of aerospace engines or power plant turbines
  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics
  • Project Management skills and experience
  • Fluency in English in speaking and writing
