Key responsibilities & impact

Define and maintain the long-term software architecture roadmap for the GridBeats™ portfolio
Ensure interoperability and integration between embedded software, firmware, middleware, backend systems and analytics platforms
Lead the development of shared platforms, libraries and common services
Ensure systems are designed for reliability, scalability, maintainability, cybersecurity and testability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven professional experience in software engineering, with a strong track record as a software architect
Deep knowledge of software design principles, patterns and best practices
Experience with multiple programming languages and frameworks such as Java, C++, C#, Python and JavaScript
Thorough knowledge of the IEC 62443 standard and other relevant cybersecurity-related standards
Familiarity with the IEC 61850 data model
Experience defining architecture for large-scale, distributed or embedded software systems
Ability to work in industrial, embedded or safety-critical environments (highly desirable)
