About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage, perform, coordinate, and/or monitor Steam Power site activities
Perform on-site installation of systems and equipment and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installation
Respond to requests for emergency repairs and services to troublesome equipment
Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance at customer's sites
Write technical reports, order materials, secure quotations, prepare job status reports, and manage expense sheets
Supervise critical tasks when performed by third parties
Prepare timely technical reports for customer records and future reference
Ensure all parts needed for the job are shipped to the site
Perform aftermarket upgrades at the site level

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related discipline from an accredited university with a 3.0 or higher GPA; or a High School Diploma / GED with 4+ years of experience in a Field Services or power generation equipment maintenance role
Obtain and maintain unescorted security clearance for nuclear facilities across North America
Experience working on customer sites
Strong technical skill in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams
Technically oriented, fast-learner, self-starter with a solid understanding of Steam Turbine Operation and Controlling Parameters OR Steam Boiler Operational Principals
