About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Be responsible for on-time project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources
Assist Project Director in organizing project cost structure in Oracle ERP
Participate in customer, internal, and/or supplier project kickoff meetings and support the Project Director with preparation & coordination of customer, internal, and/or supplier kickoff meetings
Develop and maintain a project roster including assigning and monitoring timely completion of project related training activities
Support the development & issuance of the Project Management Plan & related project plans and project procedures; promotes the implementation of project plans and project procedures across the larger project team
Support the development and deployment of project infrastructure and project tools
Ensure compliance with U. S. government requirements as applicable
Support coordination of project activities; monitor and control progress on project deliverables
Ensure the conformance of project deliverables with contract and project requirements
Organize and archive project correspondence and records consistent with Project Configuration Management Plan
Lead, draft, and issue project management meeting notes, action item lists, and project progress reports

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and a minimum of 2 years managing projects (nuclear preferred but any energy or other large scale projects)
Ability to travel 25% domestic and international
demonstrated organizational skills, particularly when related to project execution
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or STEM
fundamental-level financial or accounting knowledge
experience or familiarity with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) or Sodium Fast Reactor (SFR) designs
knowledge of the power industry, customer, and competitive environment
demonstrated ability supporting project budget, schedule, and quality objectives
financial control knowledge and understanding
demonstrated professional interpersonal and leadership skills, including high level of motivation, integrity, and self-confidence
ability to take initiative and to work independently
ability to influence others
extreme attention to detail, follow up, highly organized
demonstrated ability to balance workload under short deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
