About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Preparation of proposals/bids, contract negotiation and compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment for service for rotating equipment
  • Develop proposals including commenting on customer specifications; may negotiate with customers in compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment; ensure deals deliver shareholder value; drive competitive pricing
  • Perform and ensure that Terms &Conditions are properly reviewed, mitigated and associated risks are identified and approved
  • Owns commercial process for compliance and documentation of the commercial process while ensuring we meet customer deliverables
  • Uses technical depth and knowledge for Rotating Equipment to collaborate effectively and productively with supporting functions and sales to develop and prepare proposals
  • Prepare and conduct clean project hand-over to execution team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited university or college
  • At least 5 years of experience in Commercial Operations, Sales, or Tendering
  • Strong knowledge of Generator related products and services
  • In depth working knowledge of the commercial proposal and contracting process
  • Expertise in proposal preparation and presentation
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in German language (capable to perform negotiations in German)
