About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the oversight and execution of construction, installation, and commissioning on the customer site
  • Lead and oversee the full scope of site activities during the Inquiry to Order (ITO) and/or Order to Remittance (OTR) phases for construction, installation, and commissioning
  • Act as the primary on-site leader, directly reporting to the Project Director
  • Manage, lead, and develop the site team, including contractors and sub-contractors
  • Ensure strict adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and cost parameters
  • Proactively monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies
  • Drive operational excellence through regular site inspections and audits
  • Maintain accurate site records, including comprehensive progress reports, daily logs, safety documentation, and quality control checks
  • Implement and rigorously enforce comprehensive safety programs and protocols

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in site management or a similar leadership role, preferably in a relevant industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects on time and within budget
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, construction methods, and safety regulations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, OSHA 30) - preferred
  • Experience specifically within the Clinch River area or similar operational environments - preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management - preferred
  • Extensive understanding of power generation and the nuclear industry - preferred
