About the role

  • Coordinate or lead the planning, execution, and delivery of robotic deployment projects from concept to commissioning with the factories team & the integrator.
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in alignment with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, maintenance, safety) and external vendors/integrators.
  • Manage project risks, change controls, and resource constraints to ensure successful deployment.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes to identify automation/robotization opportunities.
  • Define ROI, payback period, and performance KPIs for proposed robotic investments.
  • Prepare and present detailed business cases to Business Line leadership and robotics & automation council to support capital investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to validate technical feasibility and integration of robotic systems.
  • Oversee system acceptance testing (FAT, SAT) and post-installation performance validation.
  • Ensure solutions comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and internal quality requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of roadmaps for future robotic initiatives in the factories and the scalability of some running projects.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and recommend enhancements for long-term competitiveness.
  • Support internal capability building and knowledge transfer across sites.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in robotics implementation, automation, or manufacturing project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering robotic/automation projects in factory environments.
  • Experience with low-volume, high-mix production settings and scaling capacity through automation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics) or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Competent in project management and associated tools.
  • Strong understanding of robotic systems (collaborative robots, industrial arms, AGVs, sensors, actuators & related hardware).
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of manufacturing systems, lean principles, and digital transformation tools.
  • SAP, IoT (Internet of Things) knowledge and experience would be a plus.

  • Expérience : 5 à 10 ans minimum d’expérience dans la mise en œuvre de solutions robotiques, l’automatisation ou la gestion de projets industriels.
  • Expérience confirmée dans la livraison de projets robotiques/automatisation en environnement de production.
  • Pratique des environnements à faible volume / forte mixité et de l’augmentation de capacité par l’automatisation.
  • Localisation : Poste ouvert en France - Europe – Americas – Asia
  • Langues : Anglais courant (écrit et oral).
  • Compétences clé : Maîtrise des outils et méthodes de gestion de projets.
  • Connaissances approfondies en systèmes robotiques (cobots, bras industriels, AGV, capteurs, etc.).
  • Bonne compréhension des environnements de production et des principes Lean.
  • Idéalement, expérience avec SAP et/ou solutions IoT.
  • Leadership reconnu, communication claire et capacité à fédérer des équipes pluridisciplinaires.
  • Autonomie, sens de l’analyse, orientation résultats.
  • Disponibilité pour des déplacements internationaux.
