About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Development and execution of category strategies within the assigned category spend
Lead corporate sourcing processes end-to-end for defined sourcing initiatives within the assigned category spend
Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to execute sourcing initiatives and deliver service, quality, and cost objectives
Advise management on ways to drive best practices, measure and track internal performance, monitor strategy implementation to ensure benefit realization, and drive value through supplier relationship management within the assigned category spend
Manage Master Service Agreements and other commercial contracts to support business requirements, compliance, and service delivery within the assigned category spend
Monitor supplier performance, track key performance indicators, and drive follow-up actions to support supplier accountability and continuous improvement within the assigned category spend
Use category and spend analytics to identify sourcing opportunities, performance trends, and areas for cost and process improvement within the assigned category spend
Apply sound judgment to resolve complex sourcing and supplier-related issues and provide recommendations to functional and business stakeholders
Stay informed of industry trends, supply market conditions, and benchmark practices relevant to the assigned category spend

Requirements

What you’ll need

Significant experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience
Demonstrated experience in category management, strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation
Strong experience within Facilities or related indirect spend categories
Demonstrated ability to use judgment to solve complex problems, assess information, and provide sound business recommendations
Experience working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver sourcing and operational outcomes
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with significant experience in job family group/function), or equivalent experience / knowledge
