Key responsibilities & impact

Quickly learn and apply analytical methods, procedures, and techniques to solve problems
Lead a variety of projects including technical evaluations and analyses in the area of Anticipated Operational Occurrences
Perform plant thermal hydraulic evaluations and analyses in the areas of Containment, HELB, Fire Safe Shutdown
Prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, and calculations
Ensure work is performed with high quality in accordance with regulatory rules and regulations, customer requirements, and business quality assurance standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.S. Degree in Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar)
At least 2 years of relevant nuclear experience OR Master's degree in engineering
Experience with BWR core simulation and thermal-hydraulic systems codes
Background in power plant or process plant thermal hydraulics
Possess fundamental knowledge of BWR Systems and integrated plant response
Knowledge of the fundamental principles of nuclear engineering
Knowledge of power plant or process plant thermal hydraulics
Knowledge of two-phase thermal hydraulic analysis techniques
Programming experience such as C#, FORTRAN, or PYTHON
