About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with the Repair Value Stream (RVS) and Materials Management networks to execute action plans
  • Collaborate on Steam Turbine and Generator Repairs & Upgrade products for customer value
  • Execute the strategy to participate in Major and Minor outages
  • Contribute to the global repair & upgrades forecasting models
  • Recommend measures to continuously improve forecast models
  • Support emergent customer issues by directing resources
  • Collaborate with One Field Service and Parts fulfillment centers to identify capabilities gaps
  • Create business cases and executive summaries for senior leaders
  • Provide Kaizen leadership and implement Lean tools and strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Marketing or Finance or other business related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in sales, commercial, operations, or product line in the Power sector
  • Significant experience working in a cross-functional environment globally
  • Outstanding presentation skills and experience
  • Demonstrated team & schedule management skills
  • Proven ability to manage and understand multiple, complex data sets in varying formats
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, resolve problems, and lead cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong technical background in both engineering and machining/repair processes of turbomachinery
  • Subject matter expert knowledge of steam turbine and generator manufacturing methods and processes, and ability to translate them into creative repair solutions
  • Understanding shop practices/schedules and being able to communicate them to various stakeholders
  • Experience in supporting global power plant outages, on a 24x7 execution timeline
  • Strong understanding of the Repairs, Commercial and Supply Chain processes
  • Knowledge of Steam Turbine & Generator Outage process & planning
  • Knowledge of Steam Turbine & Generator function at the component level
  • Basic understanding and proficiency in understanding Bills of Materials and component/assembly drawings
  • Proficiency on Salesforce/NEX/Demantra/Smartsheet
