About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate or lead the planning, execution and delivery of robotic deployment projects, from concept through commissioning, in collaboration with plant teams and integrators.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules and budgets for assigned projects in agreement with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, maintenance, safety) and external suppliers/integrators.
  • Manage project risks, changes and resource constraints to ensure successful deployments.
  • Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for automation/robotization.
  • Define ROI, payback period and performance indicators for proposed robotic projects.
  • Prepare and present detailed business cases to operations leadership and robotics & automation consultants to support investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to validate technical feasibility and system integration of robotic solutions.
  • Oversee system acceptance tests (FAT, SAT) and performance validation after installation.
  • Ensure solutions comply with safety standards, regulations and internal quality standards.
  • Contribute to the development of roadmaps for future robotics initiatives and to scaling up ongoing projects.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, automation, mechatronics) or equivalent field.
  • A Master’s degree or MBA is an asset.
  • Experience implementing robotic solutions, automation or managing industrial projects.
  • Proven track record delivering robotics/automation projects in production environments.
  • Experience with low-volume/high-mix environments and increasing capacity through automation.
  • Proficient in project management and associated tools.
  • Good understanding of robotic systems (cobots, industrial arms, AGVs, sensors, etc.).
  • Ideally, experience with SAP and/or IoT solutions.
  • Recognized leadership, clear communication and ability to unite multidisciplinary teams.
  • Autonomy, analytical mindset and results orientation.
  • Availability for international travel.
