Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the Engineering team and the development of complex software systems for large-scale cloud-based applications within the power and electrical industry.
  • Providing strategic guidance and architecture oversight to ensure high software standards and adherence to best practices.
  • Designing scalable, secure, and reliable systems tailored to meet the dynamic needs of the energy sector.
  • Evaluating and selecting technologies to optimize software performance, scalability, and long-term innovation.
  • Partnering with business leaders to translate complex challenges into effective technical requirements.
  • Facilitating clear, cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, contractors, and executive leadership.
  • Driving continuous improvement in Maintenance and Product Backlog Management by monitoring KPIs and delivery commitments.
  • Monitoring advancements in cloud computing and power systems to provide strategic guidance that maintains a competitive edge.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 10+ years in engineering leadership or NPI delivery, specifically within large-scale cloud development
  • 5+ years of expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • 3+ years of experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies
  • Proficiency in data aggregation, analytics tools, and integrated ERP environments
  • Practical experience with IoT, real-time systems, and digital core systems
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Asset Health, maintenance, engineering processes, and operations within industrial settings (e.g., LNG, refining, petrochemical, or offshore assets)
