About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the execution of Simple and Combined Cycle projects within our Heavy Duty Gas Power business.
Manage project activities, resources, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
Drive successful delivery of customer equipment, facilities, or infrastructure projects.
Ensure customer satisfaction through effective management of project lifecycle.
Own end‑to‑end execution of mega, complex, non‑turnkey, and product/equipment‑only projects.
Develop early execution strategies in partnership with the ITO Commercial Manager and ensure successful transition into project execution.
Full P&L accountability, including Revenue, Contribution Margin, and Cash.
Promote and drive GEV’s Safety Toolkit on project teams, partners, and subcontractors.
Develop, own, and actively manage the Risk & Opportunity Register.
Provide direct or indirect leadership of project teams and resources with moderate to high complexity, risk, and scale.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 4 years of Project Management experience within Energy, Construction, or large capital project environments
Graduate of the Field Engineer or Project Management Leadership Program
Must be willing to travel up to 30% of time
Certified Project Management Professional
Strong understanding of large capital project execution, including cost management and estimating.
Proven ability to independently manage multiple phased projects while balancing competing priorities in fast-paced environments.
Demonstrated customer focus with experience building strong relationships and influencing senior leaders.
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills, business and financial acumen, and the ability to make sound independent decisions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with an inclusive leadership style that drives alignment and buy-in across matrixed teams, leveraging data and lean tools for operational and project efficiency.
