About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and drive the commercial strategy for Steam Power Industrial deals from tender through project handover.
- Act as the lead commercial authority for assigned deals, providing guidance to leadership on commercial risk, opportunity development, and market/value pricing.
- Lead commercial handover from Sales to Project Execution, ensuring all assumptions, risks, and obligations are clearly documented and understood.
- Participate in negotiation of key commercial terms such as pricing, escalation, liquidated damages and payment milestones, as well as key terms & conditions including warranties, intellectual property, and limitation of liability (and many others).
- Lead identification, assessment, and mitigation of commercial and contractual risks, with particular focus on: Schedule risk and outage windows, Scope definition and change management, Supply chain and interface risk, Environmental, Health & Safety.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience partnering cross‑functionally with Sales, Project Management, Finance, Legal, and Engineering teams.
- Ability to analyze financial and commercial data to support sound business decisions (margin, cash flow, cost, and risk).
- High level of integrity and commitment to compliance, ethics, and internal governance processes.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with at least 3 years of experience in Commercial role).
