About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and proactively manage the strategy of the customer relationship to uncover customer needs and deliver commercial insights that challenge their status quo
- Articulate the GEV value across a product portfolio including requests for transactional and contractual service offerings
- Deliver top line growth and bottom-line profitability targets in the Americas region through new client prospecting
- Partner and lead others to find creative solutions to grow customer share and expand price
- Maintain and track a healthy pipeline of opportunities using Salesforce.com
- Manage e-commerce adoption to run the business
- Actively lead and participate in regional operating reviews for account planning, growth strategy, market intelligence, contract renegotiation and Kaizen sessions to drive improved sales performance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 8 years of cumulative experience in commercial sales, account management, or operations within the power generation, wind, or renewable energy industry
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
