About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Make immediate contributions to the team responsible for Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) transient analyses
Perform thermal-hydraulic and plant transient analyses to support a variety of applications
Lead a variety of projects including technical evaluations and analyses in the area of plant transients
Prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, and calculations
Provide engineering/technical expertise and guidance in the area of transient analysis
Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.S. Degree in Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar)
Experience with BWR core simulation and thermal-hydraulic systems codes
Background in power plant or process plant thermal hydraulics
Possess fundamental knowledge of BWR Systems and integrated plant response
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information
