About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of programs including subledger reviews with program managers, approval of purchase orders and payment requests
  • Directly support the Wind Capital Allocation Leader manage all business cycles including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking across the organization
  • Lead month-end/quarter-end closing activities and management reporting
  • Track performance relative to budget and forecast, review actual results, and explain variances against budget and forecast
  • Build detailed financial models that track and analyze cost drivers and headcount allocation across engineering programs
  • Partner with Engineering Operations and Product Management to build standard assumptions for engineering investments across new programs
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, execute implementation, and drive continuous improvement across people, process, and systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, or business management, from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a finance role
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills and ability to link operational performance to financial impact
  • Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work with/influence cross-functional and executive leadership teams
  • Prior experience in Financial Planning & Analysis preferred
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and digital applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
