About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and execute decarbonization strategies specifically designed for GE Vernova Gas Power customers
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers
Understand customer needs, challenges, and goals related to decarbonization
Provide expert advice and support to customers on decarbonization initiatives
Lead decarbonization projects/opportunities from inception to completion
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement decarbonization solutions
Work with product and engineering teams to enhance GE Vernova’s decarb offerings
Ensure alignment with decarbonization goals and regulatory requirements of customers
Report regularly to GE Vernova business leadership with clear deliverables
Lead and coordinate advocacy activities with governments and stakeholders
Foster a culture of care and promote a LEAN culture within the organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Engineering Degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 10 years of engineering, P&L management, Services, sales and commercial in power generation or related field
At least 5 years in a senior position with accountability and exposure to customer and government entities
Deep knowledge of GE Vernova's customer base
Sound knowledge of GE technology offerings and Combined Cycle Power Plants
Proven experience in leading decarbonization projects or initiatives, preferably within the power sector
Fluent in English; a second European language and/or Arabic is a plus
