About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead GE Vernova data and analytics across Indirect Sourcing, Capex, and Travel
Support Direct Sourcing Analytics team in designing and developing actionable analytics within Sourcing360
Develop and maintain executive dashboards, scorecards, and analytics reports using Excel, Tableau, and Power BI
Proactively improve data quality and accuracy by identifying data gaps and recommending solutions
Deliver strategic and operational analytics support to Sourcing Leaders
Lead analytics initiatives leveraging automation, GenAI, and Lean methodologies
Collaborate with Digital Technology partners to design, develop, test, and implement new analytics solutions
Champion the adoption of analytics tools and platforms across teams
Partner with the Commercial team on negotiations and selection of third-party service providers
Manage 1–2 contractors for operational deliverables
Partner with Digital Technology team to manage new source data ingestion processes
Plan, manage, and track analytics projects within agreed scope and quality standards
Conduct regular Project reviews and provide project governance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
Strong experience in spend analytics, sourcing analytics, procurement reporting, or a related discipline
Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, and Power BI
Strong experience in Procurement processes and system integration projects
Experience working with large datasets and translating data into business insights
Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Digital Technology and Finance
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with automation, GenAI, or Lean improvement methodologies is preferred
