About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to a team responsible for highly engineered equipment design of nuclear plant components
Operate in a matrixed engineering team to deliver high quality engineering deliverables
Create and develop design concepts
Provide procurement support
Generate drawings, CAD models, specifications, and design basis documentation as required
Demonstrate ownership and accountability for cost, schedule, quality, and technical accuracy of assigned tasks
Maintain open communication with interfacing engineers and project stakeholders
Prepare CAD models, drawings, specifications, and detailed design basis documentation for nuclear component designs
Interface with other engineering teams, project managers, procurement, suppliers, and other business functions as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline
3 years mechanical design experience
1 years of experience working in the nuclear industry
1 years experience performing component design work to ASME Section III standards
1 year of proficiency with Autodesk Inventor 3D CAD design or similar program
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% to domestic and international sites occasionally
