MRO Sourcing Specialist
Switzerland Global EnterpriseNAM MRO Sourcing Specialist responsible for overseeing maintenance and sourcing operations at North American sites. Collaborating with stakeholders to drive efficient pricing and terms with suppliers.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborates with Global and Regional Commodity Leaders to develop negotiation strategies and drive negotiations to achieve stated goals and objectives.
- Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to implement sourcing strategies.
- Utilizes in-depth subject-matter knowledge analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy.
- Acts as a resource for internal stakeholders and less experienced colleagues. Explains information; ensures adherence to sourcing policies and procedures.
- Jobs at this level function with some autonomy but are subject to functional practices and precedents or are covered by well-defined policies or review of end results.
- The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).
- Uses judgment and has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems. Has ability to prioritize information for data analysis. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and external sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
- 3+ years of experience in a supply chain or sourcing role.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to implement and drive process improvements.
- Strong data analysis / Excel skills.
- Experience executing bids & negotiating with suppliers.
