About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- responsible for comprehensive project management, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction for commercial nuclear industry projects
- primary contact for specific service contracts
- lead all aspects of project delivery, including coordination with internal functions, vendors, and customers
- work collaboratively with the Product Line Leaders to define requirements
- perform all aspects of project management for assigned projects, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and resource management
- provide leadership and strategic oversight for project teams
- develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and timelines
- identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues
- ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and business policies
- monitor project performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report progress to stakeholders
- negotiate contract terms and manage change orders as needed
- mentor and guide junior project managers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management
- equivalent experience/education in the nuclear industry considered, such as Senior Reactor Operator with 5 years of project management experience
- minimum 3 years managing medium- to large-scale projects in heavily regulated industries such as oil & gas, energy, aerospace, and medical device
- extensive EPU (Extended Power Uprate) Experience
- PMP Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
