About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assess potential suppliers based on quality capabilities, production capacity, and compliance with company standards
  • Participate in on-site audits at supplier facilities to verify quality control processes
  • Collaborate with suppliers to identify and implement process improvements
  • Maintain detailed records of supplier quality performance
  • Work proactively with purchasing and engineering teams to manage supplier quality concerns
  • Perform project execution activities focusing on quality control of procurement activities
  • Provide technical guidance to suppliers to assure product/process compliance
  • Execute supplier quality surveillance program for supplier activities
  • Write and review technical quality documents, plans, and procedures
  • Support future error prevention through the use of corrective action processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university or high school diploma/GED with 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, and manufacturing support, or nuclear quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of quality control, manufacturing processes, and quality assurance systems
  • Experience with electrical/electronic industry standards including IEEE, IEC, IPC, NEMA, and ANSI
  • Knowledge of analog and digital control systems, including microprocessors and controls
  • Understanding of Instrument & Controls safety system lifecycle, including high-integrity software-based protection and safety control systems
  • Experience with PLC programming, system integration, SCADA configuration, and software testing
  • Strong data analysis, reporting, and supplier collaboration skills
  • Proficient in written and verbal English
