About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assess potential suppliers based on quality capabilities, production capacity, and compliance with company standards
Participate in on-site audits at supplier facilities to verify quality control processes
Collaborate with suppliers to identify and implement process improvements
Maintain detailed records of supplier quality performance
Work proactively with purchasing and engineering teams to manage supplier quality concerns
Perform project execution activities focusing on quality control of procurement activities
Provide technical guidance to suppliers to assure product/process compliance
Execute supplier quality surveillance program for supplier activities
Write and review technical quality documents, plans, and procedures
Support future error prevention through the use of corrective action processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate degree from an accredited college or university or high school diploma/GED with 8+ years of relevant experience
Minimum of 4 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, and manufacturing support, or nuclear quality assurance
Strong knowledge of quality control, manufacturing processes, and quality assurance systems
Experience with electrical/electronic industry standards including IEEE, IEC, IPC, NEMA, and ANSI
Knowledge of analog and digital control systems, including microprocessors and controls
Understanding of Instrument & Controls safety system lifecycle, including high-integrity software-based protection and safety control systems
Experience with PLC programming, system integration, SCADA configuration, and software testing
Strong data analysis, reporting, and supplier collaboration skills
Proficient in written and verbal English
