About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the technological point person for the business for the entire Inquiry to Order (ITO) phase
Provide technical expertise and develop technical solutions as part of the pre-ITO process while interfacing with the commercial team
Deliver high technical quality of GE’s proposals that are effective and cost competitive to the customer
Responsible for technical proposal accuracy including technical specifications and estimation of engineering tasks
Perform necessary studies to verify specification and design of proposed solutions
Work with Proposal Manager and multi-discipline engineers to provide comprehensive estimates

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical degree
Minimum 5-8 years of experience with substation/Electrical design, studies, specifications, estimating, and construction experience in substation, transmission, or power generation projects
Minimum 2 years of technical proposal writing and management experience
Up to 20% travel (may include international travel) and compliance with company travel and tax policies
