Key responsibilities & impact

Demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives
Integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization
Manage complex issues within functional area of expertise
Be involved in long-term planning and contribute to overall business strategy
Develop and implement a global supply chain for products/components
Support sourcing programs and drive sourcing strategy and actions to implement the best supply chain for the business
Drive together with engineering the design for manufacturing process and cost reduction activities
Negotiate and achieve the best contractual conditions according to the business needs while ensuring internal customer satisfaction
Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services
Stay informed of industry trends that may influence work

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
significant experience in Sourcing & Commodity Management (for roles outside of the USA)
minimum 6 years of experience in Sourcing & Commodity Management (for roles in the USA)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Ability to work alone with minimum supervision
Team player and ability to work under pressure
interpersonal and leadership skills
able to communicate well and drive decisions
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
