About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop comprehensive commissioning plans and schedules
Coordinate with project management, engineering, and construction teams to ensure alignment of commissioning activities
Lead and supervise commissioning team members and contractors
Oversee the testing and validation of systems including turbines, generators, heat recovery steam generators, and auxiliary systems
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues during commissioning
Ensure all commissioning documentation is completed accurately and maintained
Prepare progress reports and present findings to stakeholders
Ensure all commissioning activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations
Implement safety protocols and conduct risk assessments
Liaise with clients, contractors, partner and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements are met
Provide technical support and guidance to plant operators and commissioning team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)
Minimum 10 years of experience in commissioning activities within the power generation industry, specifically in combined cycle power plants
Willingness to travel on long term assignment
