About the role
- As a leader of the Methods, Analysis and Design (MAD) team you will be an active contributor to the development of BWR and non-BWR products
- Support the development of technical talent and depth within the team
- Provide leadership, resources and training needed to assure high quality deliverables in accordance with customer requirements, business procedures and regulatory agency guidelines
- Interface with project management and direct resources to execute to defined project work schedules and priorities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with policies and procedures
- Interface with internal customers, external customers and the NRC on technical issues
- Act as a leader in company/business initiatives
- Support GVH quality requirements, including participation in design reviews, initiating and responding to Condition Reports, identifying and providing needed training and mentoring, and maintaining adequate levels of qualified personnel
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical or similar)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a technology or engineering role
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a people and/or technical leadership position
- Knowledge of project management
- Strong delivery mindset
- Experience with Services and NPP projects
- Previous technical leadership experience or ownership in key technical areas
- Working knowledge of applied statistical framework of nuclear reactor core and fuel licensing, technical specifications, safety margin basis, and related Federal Regulations
- Knowledge of nuclear analysis processes and the related interfaces between the GE Energy - Nuclear businesses
- Demonstrated high energy and the ability to energize others
- Team player with strong leadership capabilities
- Legacy of delivering on commitments; tenacious, with a proven track record of overcoming obstacles
- Ability to achieve stretch targets
- Honest and straightforward with a high level of personal integrity
- Must be eligible for access to U.S. export-controlled information
