About the role

  • Execute projects while adhering to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, on-time delivery and financial targets in accordance with PMH guidelines
  • Actively contribute to the unit’s operational performance through accurate financial forecasts for revenue, cash flow and margin
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects in Grid Solutions (GIS, AIS, protection relays, Monitoring & Diagnostics, DCS & CCS systems & services)
  • Responsible for commissioning high-voltage equipment
  • Independently manage projects from the tender phase through to project completion (including delivery and commissioning)
  • Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the project lifecycle
  • Work closely with EHS, engineering, contract management, procurement, finance and other stakeholders
  • Accountable for schedule, cost, quality and customer satisfaction within the project scope
  • Apply project management methodologies and conduct project reviews and reporting
  • Prepare forecasts, cash-flow plans and project reports
  • Ensure compliance with EHS and other compliance requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and workflows
  • Support sales by providing feedback from project experience and optimizing project delivery

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification (required)
  • Several years of experience in project environments, e.g., project management, site work, commissioning or engineering in the energy sector
  • Experience in independently managing projects
  • Knowledge of power transmission, distribution or industrial energy projects is desirable
  • Experience with substations (HV/MV) is a plus
  • Basic understanding of technical and commercial aspects of project business
  • Structured, independent and reliable working style
  • Business-fluent German and fluent English
