About the role
- Ensure proper operation of the plant's electromechanical systems, contributing to the operational reliability of equipment
- Perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on generating units and auxiliary equipment, efficiently and safely
- Carry out mechanical maintenance on turbines and auxiliary systems, ensuring plant performance and operational availability
- Periodically inspect equipment and conduct tests to diagnose needs for intervention and maintenance
- Coordinate with support areas to execute required services according to schedules and guidance from planning and management
- Identify, define and develop maintenance plans based on manufacturer recommendations, technical manuals and practical experience
- Comply with work orders, safe work procedures and occupational health and safety policies
- Clearly report completed activities, pending items and shift occurrences, and execute the work order management workflow in the system.
Requirements
- Must reside in Caçu/GO
- Completed technical diploma in Mechanics or Electromechanics
- Experience in hydroelectric maintenance and in hydraulic and generation systems
- Knowledge and experience with Kaplan turbine generation equipment, components and auxiliary services
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting assembly/installation project drawings
- Basic English is desirable.
