About the role
- Conduct system and plant operational functional requirements analysis
- Perform structural analysis and design of different structural systems and components of a nuclear power plant
- Perform structural analysis using Finite Element Analysis tools to develop structural demands
- Perform seismic analysis and evaluation of different structural systems and components in NPPs
- Support developing design and detailed drawings and specifications
- Incorporate design requirements into analyses and design documents
- Deliver high-quality engineering documentation on time and in accordance with contract requirements
- Operate effectively within established technical frameworks
- Communicate clearly through strong oral, written, and technical writing skills
- Effectively prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and meet deadlines
- Build trust, support team members, and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment
- Model safe work practices and reinforce a strong safety culture
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree of Science in engineering
- 1 year of Finite element analysis (FEA) experience
- Master degree in engineering (desired)
- ANSYS APDL experience (desired)
- Understanding of steel concrete (desired)
