About the role
- Lead & develop the project accounting team responsible for Fossil projects
- Support on global reporting activities
- Support the development and implementation of strategies for project accounting process harmonization and standardization across business segments
- Lead change management initiatives and drive process improvements
- Support and deliver training programs to build capabilities
- Oversee all financial aspects of project accounting for Steam Services Fossil projects
- Partner cross-functionally with the segment operations teams & fulfillment leaders
- Ensure financials of projects are in line with GAAP and compliant with statutory regulations & global accounting policies
- Provide internal and external audit support relating to project accounting activity
- Drive a spirit & letter of excellence in Controllership
- Champion LEAN culture, lead transformation efforts
- Identify, recruit, grow, and retain talent
- Foster strong partnership with third party vendors
Requirements
- Graduated in economy or business administration or as an accountant
- Significant work experience in a similar position
- SAP expertise
- Demonstrated ability to lead a global team
- In case of comparable skill set and talent, Steam Power candidates will be prioritized.
