About the role
- Support the Regions in a global environment
- Define, deploy, and maintain an effective governance framework across Projects, Services, and Manufacturing activities
- Ensure alignment with business strategy, compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Drive transparency, accountability, and performance while supporting operational teams in delivering safely on time, cost, and compliance
- Develop and maintain governance policies, procedures, and guidelines aligned with business objectives
- Monitor governance-related risks, ensure mitigation plans are in place, and track their effectiveness
- Establish governance KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance across Projects, Services, and Manufacturing
- Act as a key interface between Business Leadership, Operations, Functions, and Regions
- Coach the organization on governance standards and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Master’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
- Degree in engineering, environmental science, safety management or other EHS-related technical discipline is required
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Projects, Services, Manufacturing, or Operations within an industrial or energy environment
- Strong experience in governance, project management frameworks, operational excellence, or risk management
- Solid understanding of matrix organizations and complex international environments
- Strong knowledge of health & safety programs including Lockout-Tagout, Confined Space, Electrical Safety, Hazardous Chemical Management, etc.
- Experience with independent standards organizations and certification programs such as ISO 4001, ISO 45001, etc.
- Strong skills to influence and motivate leaders and employees
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical reports and regulatory documents/standards
- High level of integrity, independence, and accountability with flexibility to navigate in a multi-cultural environment
- Fluency in the English language is required
- Additional language as French, Spanish, German would be appreciated.
