💰 $72,400 - $108,600 per year

About the role

  • Perform generator inspections at customers’ sites domestically and internationally with the aid of robotic tools
  • Provide GE and GE’s customers with diagnostic data and critical information for operation, maintenance, repair, or replacement decisions
  • Work closely with onsite field engineers, off-site engineering support team and subject matter experts to review, analyze and disposition the results of the inspections
  • Interpret and follow technical instructions and procedures

Requirements

  • A high school diploma, GED, or similar educational equivalent or two years of relevant experience
  • Power Industry or Remote Inspection Experience
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Availability to travel and work globally on short notice up to 80% of the time, and for extended periods of time, including weekends and holidays
  • Must meet requirements to obtain unescorted access at nuclear sites and any other site or country access requirements
  • Ability and willingness to work rotating shifts
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work at heights of 20 to 30 feet
  • Ability to work in cramped, awkward positions for short periods of time
