About the role

  • Planning and monitoring of engineering activities for customer projects
  • Assuming technical leadership and serving as the interface to order management, partners, customers, GE Product Engineering, procurement and engineering subcontractors
  • Design team management including technical leadership and task allocation
  • Defining input data for project execution and managing technical partners
  • Identifying and correcting schedule deviations
  • Implementing design changes as part of complaint management
  • Analyzing customer requirements
  • Monitoring and controlling the engineering schedule and documentation

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering (a degree in industrial engineering or a related field is also acceptable)
  • Several years of professional experience in turnkey/EPC projects
  • Experience in planning electrical high-voltage systems
  • Business-fluent German and English
  • Team management experience
  • Understanding of project execution processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills
