About the role
- Lead the Balance of Plant (BOP) supply chain management team in projects
- Fulfill sourcing commitments towards the project
- Report to the BOP Sourcing leader
- Support the Project Manager (PM)/Project Director (PD) as the main procurement contact
- Responsible for all supply chain management activities for BOP equipment and spare parts
- Prepare & apply a common approach to defining and applying contract requirements
- Coordinate on- and offshore procurement activities
- Develop Engineering Procurement Plan (EPP) and project-specific sourcing concepts
- Review and update the purchasing strategy with project stakeholders
- Verify budget with Project Finance Manager and resolve discrepancies
- Execute large commercial transactions through supplier negotiation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- 7 years experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain or project management
- Ability and willingness to travel 20% of the time, as required
- Strong analytical project management and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
