About the role

  • Collaborate with business and functional partners as well as technology leads to define features and clarify requirements.
  • Define a multi-generation project strategy aligned with expected outcomes.
  • Define execution methodologies and project management practices to be applied across the program’s projects.
  • Organize project teams composed of internal and external technical and functional experts, based on budget, scope, and schedule.
  • Manage the day-to-day execution of multiple interdependent projects by working directly with global technical teams.
  • Coordinate the execution of multiple projects and promote a shared approach and common tracking of results.
  • Support the delivery teams in resolving blockers and interdependencies.
  • Collaborate with technical and functional teams outside the project to ensure their deliverables are completed as needed.
  • Manage project risks, scope changes, and other non-standard events throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and reporting on progress at different levels of the organization, including leadership and executive management.
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables is verified and meets stakeholder expectations.
  • Track realization of project benefits and customer satisfaction using defined indicators against service commitments.
  • Ensure collection of lessons learned.
  • Conduct initial and final financial reviews and maintain ongoing budget monitoring.
  • Bring your expertise in Agile methodology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), with significant experience.
  • Proven experience using project management methodologies to create business value and drive significant, organization-wide transformations.
  • Experience managing budgets, including planning and tracking expenditures.
  • Strong understanding of and knowledge about various project and portfolio management methodologies, with demonstrated experience implementing shared standards for large organizations.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and organize teams to achieve common objectives.
  • Excellent influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written) at all levels of the organization.
  • Initiative — requires minimal supervision to achieve objectives.
  • Solid experience and a marked interest in current and emerging technologies, demonstrated through training, professional experience, and/or industry activities.
  • Team player — collaborate effectively with others to solve problems and actively integrate contributions from different sources.
  • Experience working in an international/global environment.
  • Ability to coach/mentor others.
  • Customer-oriented — evaluate decisions from the customer’s perspective, build strong customer relationships, design processes with the customer in mind, and partner with customers to help define their future initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — communicate clearly and concisely, effectively evaluate information/data to make decisions, anticipate obstacles and develop resolution plans, and create actionable strategies and operational plans.
  • Change-oriented — proactively drive process improvements, lead and manage change initiatives, handle difficult situations creatively, manage multiple competing priorities, and execute accordingly.
  • Project management certifications such as PMP, ScrumMaster, or equivalents.
