About the role
- Lead LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance commercial processes, tools, and ways of working;
- Be a leader in Value Stream Mapping and LEAN;
- Support the modernization of Commercial tools through the build-out of the tools roadmap, guide deployments and integrate AI into Commercial standard work;
- Lead cross-functional projects and programs that enable commercial and sales operations excellence;
- Develop clear project charters, timelines, and success metrics; manage stakeholders and drive accountability;
- Use Voice of Customer (VOC) insights to prioritize and implement improvements;
- Support and continuously improve core sales operations processes;
- Coordinate with regional teams to ensure adoption and sustainment of new processes, tools, and best practices;
- Support projects that align to Commercial organization priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college;
- At least 6 years of Commercial and Operational experience;
- Experience in commercial excellence, sales operations, commercial operations, or related roles, ideally in an industrial, energy, or complex B2B environment;
- Strong understanding of commercial processes (e.g., ITO, risk assessment, costing, pricing);
- Experience with LEAN methodologies and structured problem solving;
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with data, metrics, and KPIs;
- Demonstrated experience in Tableau development and other data and analytics capabilities an asset;
- Strong proficiency in Excel mandatory;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Strong communication skills;
- Entrepreneurial and self-starter mindset an asset.
