The Procurement Specialist serves as an interface for the Project Procurement & Logistics Manager and Project Manager, tracking Purchase Orders from submission to delivery across a portfolio of projects to ensure procurement commitments are met including on-time delivery, quality, and cost
Assist with coordination with suppliers to confirm that orders are received and acknowledged by suppliers, on schedule, and delivered successfully to the desired location

Requirements

Work with Sourcing, Procurement and Project Management teams to understand what their priorities are
Proactively follow up with suppliers on order acknowledgements, expediting, order status, logistics requirements, and delivery status
Work with the cross-functional teams like Engineering, Sourcing, and Project Controls to ensure on-time delivery of documents required to be obtained from suppliers
Present status updates to Project Managers via weekly cadence as well as ad hoc
Work with procurement team to initiate Goods Receipt process upon appropriate incoterm timing
Support the Procurement team with clean up and maintenance activities in the ERP system
