About the role
- Develop and execute cost execution plans by function
- Generate weekly and monthly detailed cost reports by project scope
- Monitor budget line items weekly and identify variances for escalation and mitigation
- Maintain budget version control
- Collaborate with budget owners to estimate Cost to Complete
- Work closely with the scheduler to align project schedules with cost curves
- Prepare for PMR reviews on a quarterly/bi-annual basis
- Conduct risk & opportunity analyses and monitor project risks
- Support the creation and implementation of new cost controlling mechanisms
- Coordinate functional estimates for change order costs
- Track variance to budget of approved change orders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business
- Min. 5 years proven experience in cost analysis, project management, or a related role
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost management software
