About the role

  • assume authorship and responsibility for all Project Management and Project Controls related processes and procedures
  • help improve upon the existing Inspection Services PMO standard work framework and lead the implementation of tools and compliance to this process
  • review input from leadership that identifies gaps and resolve them with appropriate process/procedural updates and/or creation
  • coordinate with leadership team to shore up those processes/procedures
  • advocate for and pursue appropriate tools to modernize the project management and project controls suite
  • work closely with the Inspection Services leadership to ensure gaps are identified and closed swiftly and effectively
  • lead process maintenance and improvement activities across Inspection Services Project Management
  • ensure alignment with GVH processes
  • manage the different Inspections work groups (IVVI, IVUT, ISI) at customer outages to facilitate project delivery
  • report to the Inspection Services Director and coordinate with business leaders to plan and execute project work scopes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 10 Years of Nuclear industry experience)
  • 3 - 5 Years of Nuclear Inspections Project Management experience
  • International Project Support – The ability to maintain access to and execute international project delivery
  • Ability and willingness to travel 40% of the time
  • Ability to maintain Unescorted Access to and on customers’ site/property
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
  • Established project management skills
