About the role
- assume authorship and responsibility for all Project Management and Project Controls related processes and procedures
- help improve upon the existing Inspection Services PMO standard work framework and lead the implementation of tools and compliance to this process
- review input from leadership that identifies gaps and resolve them with appropriate process/procedural updates and/or creation
- coordinate with leadership team to shore up those processes/procedures
- advocate for and pursue appropriate tools to modernize the project management and project controls suite
- work closely with the Inspection Services leadership to ensure gaps are identified and closed swiftly and effectively
- lead process maintenance and improvement activities across Inspection Services Project Management
- ensure alignment with GVH processes
- manage the different Inspections work groups (IVVI, IVUT, ISI) at customer outages to facilitate project delivery
- report to the Inspection Services Director and coordinate with business leaders to plan and execute project work scopes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 10 Years of Nuclear industry experience)
- 3 - 5 Years of Nuclear Inspections Project Management experience
- International Project Support – The ability to maintain access to and execute international project delivery
- Ability and willingness to travel 40% of the time
- Ability to maintain Unescorted Access to and on customers’ site/property
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
- Established project management skills
